Project Description: The main goal of the project is to accommodate the addition of two new MRI machines at Madigan Army Medical Center, but widespread alterations are necessary for the new footprint. The project is phased, but in total it will renovate the roughly 42k-sqft of the facility that comprises the radiology department. Safari Electric is responsible for the electrical, fire alarm, access control, and nurse call scopes of work in their entirety.

Project Description: This design-build project involved the installation of a new network backbone to accommodate an updated pneumatic tube system consisting of 55 PTS stations and 39 transfer units. Safari Electric was responsible for designing the new fiber-based network, the installation of all network components and cabling, and assisting in the cutover of the pneumatic tube system to minimize the impact to the facility.
