Project Description: The design-build project consisted of upgrading through replacement all electrical in the roughly half-mile long tunnel under Manchester Fuel Depot to be compliant with Class 1 Division 1 standards. As a subcontractor, Safari Electric was responsible for the design and installation in its entirety.

Project Description: The goal of this design-build project was to replace the aging generator that provided the backup power for Naval Radio Station Jim Creek with two new 2,500 kW generators. The project included the complete remodel of the building that housed the generators and base power upgrades. Safari Electric was responsible for installation of two new 500KVA transformers and 15kv 1200A switchgear, Generator power and controls, and upgrading supporting buildings’ main power.

Project Description: This design-build project involved the installation of a new network backbone to accommodate an updated pneumatic tube system consisting of 55 PTS stations and 39 transfer units. Safari Electric was responsible for designing the new fiber-based network, the installation of all network components and cabling, and assisting in the cutover of the pneumatic tube system to minimize the impact to the facility.
